Vertical Farming
Vertical Farming is the Practice of growing crops like Lettuce, Tomatoes and green crops indoors, in vertically stacked layers, under artificial light and temperature conditions.

As it is set up indoors, seasons or unexpected weather occurrences have no effect on these crops leading to high productivity all-year. Vertical Farming also uses significantly less pesticides and significantly less water, which is a growing concern nowadays.

With alarmingly reducing arable land due to industrial development and urbanization, Vertical Farming seems to the answer that many countries like Japan, Denmark and USA have opted for due to increased crop yield for every unit area of land requirement.
Some common choices of structures to house vertical farming systems include buildings, shipping containers, or a repurposed warehouse.
